In 2007 and 2008 I made two journeys to the Libyan desert in Egypt. For all together four weeks we travelled more than 4000 km in one of the world´s most "dangerous" deserts, to the borders of Sudan and Libya, the Uwaynat mountain, the vast plateau of Gilf Kebir and through the Great Sand Sea, areas surveyed by the English during the twenties and thirties and to greater extent still unexplored.
The Prints, made in Photopolymer engraving technique, present some of my impressions from these desolated regions.
